Dear visitor, welcome on my home page! My name is Johannes Mayer. I was assistant professor (Akademischer Rat auf Zeit) in the Faculty of Mathematics and Economics at Ulm University in the southern part of Germany until September 2007. I love teaching and working with students. I was doing research in the field of software engineering. My main goal was to achieve (more) automation in the development of dependable software systems. For that purpose, I was mainly investigating methods for automatic testing and model-driven software development.
In my leisure I like hiking, biking, and enjoying our beautiful nature. I also enjoy dancing and making music (singing as well as playing piano and keyboard). Furthermore, I like taking pictures as you can see on my home page.
