Inhalte:
Einführung in Modelle und Anwendungen der stochastischen Geometrie.
Themenschwerpunkte:
Typische Anwendungsbeispiele betreffen Fragestellungen der Wirtschaftswissenschaften (mikrogeographische Marktanalyse), Ingenieurwissenschaften (Planung und Analyse von Verkehrs- und Telekommunikationsnetzen, Untersuchung von Mikrostrukturen in den Materialwissenschaften), Medizin und Biologie (Texturanalyse von biologischen Geweben).
