Next: Summary
Up: White Box Tests done
Previous: Code Inspection
As mentioned before, the walk-through and the code-inspection technique
are related to each other. The main difference is that the participants
are supposed to think about good tests for the program during their
preparation, when a walk trough is planned. In the meeting they will
execute those tests together manually on a sheet of paper or on a
blackboard.
Once more, there is disagreement in the literature about the author's
presence in the testing team. The main reason against his
presence is that his work should be able to speak for
itself. The documentation has to be clear, and
ambiguous design or specification is
taboo anyway.
