Specification

For the most important examinations, minimum frequencies have been defined. It is checked how well those requirements have been fulfilledgif. Four different minimum frequencies are used: Six months for the control of the patient's systolic (rrsys, verlauf) and diastolic (rrdia, verlauf) blood pressure, height (gros, verlauf),    weight (gew, verlauf), insulin injection sites (spritz_unt, verlauf), and his  HbA-.7ex1c (hba1c, verlauf), twelve months for the check of his cholesterol level (chol, verlauf), also twelve months for albuminuria (urin_album, ualbumin) and eye checks (aug_dia_l and aug_dia_r, verlauf) of patients that are at least eleven years old or have diabetes mellitus for at least five years, and finally yearly questions about smoking (rauchen, verlauf) if the patient is at least eleven years old.
