The Game

Magic Seven is a game of chance, like Roulette (only much better). The set-up includes a table to place bets on and, of course, the Wheel. Not an ordinary wheel, mind you. Magic Seven is the magic number. So the Wheel has seven sectors, each of exactly the same size. Such a wheel can't be constructed. Ask your math teacher. It is there by magic alone, and no one can alter the meaning of Its seven halting positions.

The Wheel is in motion. The Wheel halts.

While It is in motion, you can decide over your fortune. It's all on you how much you want to risk and what you want to take chances on. When the wheel stops, the dice of your fate have been cast. There is no escape. Either you win or you lose. But the game never ends. The next round might change everything for you, or nothing, but it will come. The Wheel will turn again.

Categories

There are seventeen categories -- numbers and groups of two or three numbers -- on which one can bet. Successful are bets on categories containing the number chosen by the Wheel. Each player can simultaneously place bets on different categories. These are defined as follows (note that number seven is magic and thus in no other category):
